Hello! My name is Bobbie, and I look forward to meeting you and your family. I am at that fun age where my children are grown but I’m not yet a grandmother. I spend my days as the Office coordinator of the Pulmonary Department of a local hospital. But with my children grown I miss nurturing young hearts and minds. I was a certified Red Cross babysitter as a young girl and have been a childcare and special needs provider throughout my life in many different ways. I have had personal experience with children with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum, ADD and learning disabilities. I have previously been employed and trained to work with children and adults with disabilities which includes all forms personal care duties and medication dispensing. I was a Girl Scout for 10+ growing up and even spent summers as a day camp counselor.
I love to watch children discover and gain confidence as they learn and accomplish new things. I look forward to experiencing these things with your children while you are away and I hope my experience and background will allow you to feel confident in my ability to do so.
