Owner & Strategic Director
Amy Gray
[email protected]Amy became owner of Sitterwise (then Marion's Childcare) in 2005. She is our founder Marion's daughter-in-law, mom to Lissa and Steven, and an accomplished San Diego beach photographer. Amy splits her time between Sitterwise, two photography businesses, and Christian school website development and communications. As her first business, Sitterwise holds a special place in Amy's heart. She loves seeing our caregivers give San Diego families and vacationers the peace of mind to fully enjoy their time — whether that's a long-overdue date night or finally getting to the beach without a diaper bag.
Client Care Coordinator
Lissa Gray
[email protected]Lissa holds a BA in Theatre from California Baptist University and is currently pursuing her Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership. Her background includes hands-on experience with kids through summer camps and party entertainment, plus administrative work in a theater setting. As the third generation of the Gray family to be involved in Sitterwise, she feels blessed to have the opportunity to continue the family business while also enjoying opportunities in the performing arts.
Human Resources & Caregiver Support
Robyann Antal Oakes
[email protected]Robyann joined the Sitterwise team as our Human Resources & Caregiver Support Manager, bringing a strong background in project management, leadership, and people-centered care. She's passionate about creating positive experiences for clients and ensuring every caregiver on our team reflects the quality Sitterwise families have come to trust. Robyann is a wife and mom of two (ages 6 and 3) who knows firsthand the value of dependable childcare. Outside of work, you'll find her at the beach, at church, staying active, and making memories with her family.

With deep experience supporting service-based businesses - especially those with teams, payroll, and lots of moving parts - she helps us understand what our numbers are saying so we can grow with confidence. Becky is the founder of Friberg Financial and is fueled by Diet Coke and an unwavering belief that finances can actually be fun.

Marion Gray
Founder of Marion's Childcare · 1930-2018As a single mom of four children, Marion started out just trying to make ends meet - not start a business. But her professionalism and kid-friendly style earned her a place in the hearts of concierges around the city. Soon, she had more sitting requests than she could personally take, and she asked her close friends to join her. Before long, Marion's Childcare was San Diego's most trusted name in hotel babysitting, used exclusively by the area's finest resorts.
