Hello, my name is Jocelyn, and I look forward to meeting and getting to know you and your family! I realized that I loved working with children when I participated in Suzuki Strings, an all-age group that teaches orchestra string instruments. I enjoy entertaining children, usually by playing with whatever toys are available, drawing/coloring, reading stories aloud, and making up our own stories. I have also babysat my 1 year-old nephew, which introduced me to the experience of taking care of a baby, as opposed to toddlers and older children that I had been more used to. I am currently taking college classes to learn piano, Japanese, and more Spanish. I would love to give small lessons/fun facts of music or foreign languages for the children who would be interested, as another form of an educational game. I would love to use my experiences, kindness, and patience in a way that can help out families while making sure children have fun!
