Hello! My name is Kate, and I started babysitting at the age of twelve for my neighbors children while growing up, and started nannying in graduate school. I worked as a camp counselor for four summers in a row at Gold Arrow Camp in the high Sierra Mountains, working for the girls campers between the ages of seven and twelve. I also grew up with many little cousins and loved being around them and playing with them when they visited. I love children! They keep my feeling young and curious about the world around us. I love little kids and their fun lively energies! I have been CPR/First Aid certified several times over the years. I love working with and taking care of kids. I enjoy reading to them, playing pretend/encouraging the use of our imaginations, I love doing kid yoga, coloring, dancing/making up dances, playing and making music, singing, playing my ukulele for them. I am looking forward to bringing patience, joy, loving kindness and empathy to every situation!
