Hi! My name is Michaela and I have 11 years of childcare experience with infants through teenagers, from nannying, lifeguarding, swim instructing, and being a camp counselor. I believe I am a great childcare provider not only due to my hands-on experience, but also from my bubbly, positive personality paired with empathy. I enjoy having the opportunity to make a positive impact on kids lives, while striving for safety and comfortability as their parents are away. For the last five years I have worked full time with one family and part time with the top childcare agency, KGrace, in Chicago, IL.
I grew up in Michigan and moved to Chicago to attend DePaul University for undergrad where I majored in Health Science and minored in Hospitality Leadership. I started my doctoral degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine in Chicago, IL at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and recently transferred to the San Diego campus. I am certified in CPR and first aid; I am also up-to-date on all vaccines. In my free time I enjoy yoga, hiking, traveling, and trying new food outlets!
