Ann Tronnes

Hello! My name is Ann. I’m originally from Minnesota and spent many years enjoying the mountains of Colorado before making my way to San Diego. I’ve had the pleasure of working as a high school teaching assistant, supporting students with cognitive needs, where I loved finding creative ways to match each child’s unique learning style and keep them engaged. I’ve also worked in the hospitality industry, where I developed a knack for making people feel comfortable, supported, and excited about their surroundings—whether they were outdoor adventurers or not.

Alongside my work with Sitterwise, I’m involved in the fitness industry, specializing in working with individuals with Parkinson’s Disease and teaching balance and Pilates classes. This experience has strengthened my ability to adapt, stay patient, and think creatively—skills that translate naturally into childcare. I love getting to know each child’s interests and personality ahead of time so I can create a fun, engaging experience tailored just for them. Safety is always my top priority, and I make sure to understand any health needs or allergies so you can feel confident your child is in caring, capable hands. I look forward to meeting your family!
