Joanna Sandoval

It’s so nice to meet you! My name is Joanna, but you can call me Ms. Jo. As the eldest of five siblings, caring for kids has always felt like second nature. I love bringing a little fun and creativity into every day—whether it’s flying kites, doing arts and crafts, playing board games, or finding new ways to get outside and move! I’m an SDSU graduate and am continuing my education to become licensed in Marriage and Family Counseling, with a minor in Child Psychology. I’m fluent in English and Spanish and happy to help with tutoring when needed.

I’ve spent over a decade volunteering with children in my church and community, supporting kids from infancy through high school, and I’m certified in Mental Health First Aid and CPR. I aim to create a safe, happy, and engaging environment where kids feel valued, supported, and free to explore their creativity. I look forward to bringing patience, energy, and a little bit of playful fun to your family!
