Mary Prefontaine

My name is Mary and I love kids of all ages! While my kids were growing up, I loved the tender age of infants and their sweet cuddles and coos, feeding, rocking and taking them on a stroll, introducing them to different stimuli or soothing them at nap time. Toddlers are full of wonder and do well with engagement, kicking a ball, climbing, crafts, reading etc. As school age children, I liked to show them how to make things (foods, crafts like jewelry and posters), and how to add and subtract with money, write a letter, fold clothes, or do laundry. I can also take them to extracurricular activities. Really anything that is needed, I’m open to doing. I even taught my boys how to throw a football and change their headlights on the car. I find YouTube a great place to learn things. At this stage of my life, I’m looking forward to having a caring and warm relationship with children, while waiting for my own kids to have children. I really loved being a mom and volunteering at school (daily). I love to see the lights in their eyes go on, as they learn new things!
