Hi, my name is Megan! I am an enthusiastic preschool teacher looking for a part time summer job that can carry into next school year. I love working with kids of all ages and have done so throughout my entire life. Because I have two younger sisters, I grew up being well-versed in diaper changing, nap time, and soothing crying babies. I am very comfortable with the practical skills needed to care for a child and I also understand that patience and gentleness with children are essential to creating a safe, caring environment where they can learn and grow. Additionally, I love nature and enjoy helping children learn through exploring the outdoors. I’ve worked in Kindergarten-2nd grade classrooms, as well as teaching ESL. In college, I led the Cubbies AWANA program, and in the summer interned for an inner-city free lunch program. Working with children brings me so much joy!
