Easy Holiday Hot Chocolate

Link copied!

Sure, the little packets can be handy in a pinch, but what about making some REAL hot chocolate with the kids this holiday season? It really only takes a few extra minutes to bring some homemade holiday cheer to you and your kids.

Here’s all you need:
4 cups of milk
1/3 cup granulated sugar
3 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
Just a pinch of salt
Marshmallows
Chocolate syrup

Three steps to become the holiday parent of the year:
1. Heat milk in medium saucepan until scalding, but not boiling. Stir occasionally.
2. Whisk in sugar, cocoa, vanilla and salt.
3. Serve topped with marshmallows and chocolate syrup

Snuggle up on the couch with your little ones and enjoy!
